The Membership and Outreach committee is the social, outwardly visible committee that will be the public face of our organization. This is the committee that plans events, educates the community and promotes the benefits of membership.

Areas of Focus: Events, Education, Recruiting
Committee Chair: Elizabeth Lind-Hoff
Purpose: To raise awareness among the residents of the Fargo/Moorhead area and beyond about the growth, development and maturation of the Co-op. To develop membership policies and be instrumental in planning the outreach events that will help ensure strong and sustained memberships.
Examples of Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Volunteer recruitment and management
- Develop membership structure and goals
- Develop member recruitment and retention plans
- Develop member orientation program
- Event Planning
- Research community events and educational opportunities
- Make contacts in the community and develop relationships with people who would be able to help us with our educational goals (e.g., natural health practitioners, nutritionists, schools, etc…)
- Develop educational materials to distribute at events
