Areas of Focus: Administration, Fundraising, Accounting

Committee Chair: Reba Mathern-Jacobson

Purpose: To assist in annual and long-term budget planning, member and commercial loan management, federal, state and local tax oversight, grant writing and reporting and creation of accounting and bookkeeping systems.

Examples of Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Relationship with fiscal agent
  • Develop financial projections
  • Develop fundraising goals
  • Research funding options
  • Coordinate potential member loan program
  • Develop budget
  • Develop system for accurate tracking, monitoring and accountability of funds
  • Develop and implement fundraising plan
  • Grants and contracts administration
  • Creating and maintaining records (filing systems, databases, etc…)
  • Tracking and reporting on donations
  • Tracking and reporting in-kind donations and volunteer hours
